1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of annopb.com and related Anno services, features, communications, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Anno. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and supervise your use. Minors may not buy, sell, trade, ship, or arrange payment for gear without the direct involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, maintain only accounts you are authorized to use, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account. You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent an affiliation, evade a suspension, sell an account, or transfer an account without our permission.

4. Community conduct

Anno is a paintball community. Treat people accordingly. You may not use the Service to:

• Use foul, obscene, sexually explicit, or profane language in listings, posts, profiles, team spaces, or messages.
• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, shame, intimidate, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
• Send disrespectful, abusive, hateful, discriminatory, or sexually inappropriate direct messages.
• Promote violence, self-harm, illegal activity, or hatred based on a protected characteristic.
• Publish another person's private information or images without appropriate permission.
• Spam, manipulate engagement, distribute malware, phish, or attempt to obtain credentials or sensitive information.
• Post false, misleading, stolen, counterfeit, unsafe, recalled, or unlawfully possessed items.
• Interfere with the Service, other accounts, moderation, security controls, or normal community use.

We may remove content, limit messaging, cancel listings, restrict features, suspend accounts, or report conduct to appropriate authorities when we reasonably believe these rules or applicable law have been violated.

5. Exchange and user transactions

Anno Exchange and related buy, sell, and trade features provide tools for users to discover one another and communicate. Anno is not the buyer, seller, broker, dealer, escrow agent, payment processor, shipping provider, authenticator, or party to any user transaction.

Payments, shipping, meetups, inspections, refunds, and other transaction steps occur outside Anno and are arranged solely between users. Anno does not hold funds, guarantee payment, guarantee delivery, authenticate gear, insure shipments, resolve chargebacks, or guarantee that a user will complete a deal.

You transact at your own risk. You are responsible for verifying identity, ownership, item condition, serial information, legality, pricing, payment method, shipping, taxes, and the safety of any meetup. Use payment methods with buyer and seller protections, retain records, inspect gear where practical, and never send money or property when a situation appears suspicious.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anno is not liable for fraud, scams, misrepresentation, theft, counterfeit goods, payment loss, chargebacks, shipping loss or damage, personal injury, disputes, or any other loss arising from a transaction or attempted transaction between users.

6. Market data and price guidance

Market prices, ranges, trends, sold comparables, product matches, condition labels, automated classifications, and other market information are estimates for general informational purposes. They may be incomplete, delayed, duplicated, misclassified, based on limited samples, or otherwise inaccurate. They are not appraisals, guarantees, offers, financial advice, or a promise that an item will sell for a particular amount.

You are solely responsible for evaluating gear and setting or accepting a price. Anno is not liable for decisions, transactions, losses, or missed opportunities based on market data or automated recommendations.

7. Vendors, retailers, events, and third-party listings

A vendor, retailer, field, event, league, product, or listing appearing on Anno does not mean Anno endorses, verifies, certifies, or guarantees that party's identity, inventory, reputation, business practices, safety, accuracy, availability, or reliability. Listings may be imported or linked from third-party sources and can be stale or incorrect. Conduct your own research before purchasing, traveling, registering, or relying on third-party information.

Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and policies. Some outbound links may be affiliate links, and Anno may receive a commission from qualifying activity without increasing your price.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Anno a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify for formatting or display, publish, distribute, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and improve the Service. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems, except where retention is reasonably necessary for backups, transaction records, moderation, legal obligations, or content shared with others.

You represent that you own or have permission to submit your content and that it does not violate law, these Terms, intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Do not upload sensitive information you do not want processed by the Service.

9. Anno content, data, and prohibited scraping

The Service, its design, software, databases, compilations, market data, taxonomies, product matches, graphics, branding, and Anno-created content are owned by Anno or its licensors and are protected by law. Subject to these Terms, Anno gives you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Scraping Anno is prohibited. Without prior written permission, you may not use bots, crawlers, spiders, scripts, browser automation, data-mining tools, artificial intelligence agents, or other automated means to access, copy, extract, monitor, index, train on, aggregate, republish, sell, or create a substitute for any part of the Service or its data. You may not bypass rate limits, access controls, robots directives, technical protections, or API restrictions, or use manual methods to reproduce a substantial portion of an Anno database.

10. Feedback

If you submit ideas, bug reports, or suggestions, you allow Anno to use them without restriction or compensation. Do not submit feedback you consider confidential.

11. Beta features and changes

All or part of the Service may be offered as a beta, preview, or experimental feature. Beta features may contain errors, change substantially, lose data, or be discontinued without notice. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature or the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that content or features will always remain available.

12. Copyright and other rights

If you believe content on Anno infringes your copyright or other rights, submit a detailed notice through Anno Support, including identification of the work, the challenged content and its location, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement that your notice is accurate and authorized.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Anno at any time. We may investigate conduct and suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect the community or Service, comply with law, or address risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, transaction disclaimers, warranty disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity.

14. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." ANNO DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, DATA, USERS, LISTINGS, MESSAGES, OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, SAFE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANNO AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES; PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE; OR LOSSES ARISING FROM USER CONDUCT, TRANSACTIONS, MARKET DATA, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANNO'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ANNO DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) US $100.

These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Anno and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, conduct, transactions, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person's rights.

17. General terms

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Anno regarding the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; Anno may assign them in connection with a business transfer or by operation of law.

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the law of the state in which Anno maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction and venue. Before filing a claim, you agree to give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve it informally by contacting us.

18. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the effective date. Material changes may receive additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
